Diagnosing whether you are ready for a DMT journey




Are you ready for a DMT journey?
It is important to assess whether you are ready or if you need more time before experiencing a DMT journey. It is recommended you assess various aspects of your life and who you are, such assessments should include:

1. Mental Health - Assess your inner feelings and thoughts to identify whether you have any history of panic attacks or suffer from any mental condition that may exacerbate your feelings when your mind is put under pressure. A DMT journey will place a lot of pressure on your mind over a long period of time, so you need to be able to keep positive and believe in love and happiness. If you take negative energy with you on a DMT journey, you will have to face that negative energy and it will be very confronting.

2. Beliefs - Assess your beliefs; whether they be spiritual, religious, even atheist or whether you simply don't believe anything exists after death. A DMT journey will make you question your own beliefs about everything, whether you like it or not, there is no way to mentally control or compartmentalise it to your own beliefs. The more you try to do that the more you will have to confront your own beliefs.

3. Expectations - it is easy to create expectations but the more expectations you place on yourself and of a DMT journey, the more likely you will create negative energy. There are a lot of factors that determine an average, good or extraordinary DMT journey.

4. Physical Health - Assess your overall physical health and determine if you should get into better shape before proceeding with a DMT journey. Some of the areas that you could consider include; checking that your own metabolism is strong, you want as much DMT as possible to be absorbed in the stomach and transported to the brain, do you have any stomach ailments that may cause you to be sick during the DMT trip, do you have any cardiac or cardiovascular problems that may cause problems when your mind is under pressure. In some circumstances you may need to stop the use of all medications prior to a DMT journey and this means you may need to consult your doctor prior to the journey.

You need to be mentally prepared for hours and hours of utterly reality shattering, mind blowing panoramas.

DMT is not something you try for the sake of it – It will have dramatic life changing effects on you – don’t risk hospitalisation if you are not ready.


Do you have the right motivation for a DMT journey?
It is important to understand your motivation behind using DMT. You should ask yourself what the reasons are in order to ensure they are clear and concise. You will need these in your mind right up until the trip begins. Below are some example questions that may help you uncover your motivations:

  1. Do you feel like you operate differently or relate differently to others around you
  2. Do you believe there is more to life that what you are experiencing now?
  3. Could you be a better person to those around you by being more caring and calming?
  4. Do you overreact to situations that are insignificant in the scheme of things?
  5. Do you believe you have a purpose on this earth but are struggling to find it?
  6. Do you believe you should be more successful in life than others around you?
  7. Do you believe you have a soul inside yourself?
  8. Do you believe in life after death?
  9. Why do you believe you should take DMT?
  10. What do you hope to gain from the experience produced from DMT?

While the above questions are just some lite examples, you should also gain views from those around you, specially those close to you. This is important when considering a DMT journey, because it will impact those around you, based on the reaction you have to the journey and how you react around others and ultimately treat them.


Do you have the right mindset for a DMT journey?
When you try something new there is often hesitation in the mind as a result of fear of the unknown coupled with high expectations that are based on experiences of others. Even people who take DMT frequently, can still have apprehensions.

When we attempt anything in life, typically we set our expectations so high that we cruse through the experience or are slightly disappointed by it. With DMT, while you will likely set your expectations very high, they will likely be decimated by the experience.

Before you take DMT you need to remain focused on what your intentions are and throughout the trip you need to stay calm and positive, you have no choice. This is very important because once you start the process, there is no going back, you can't simply stop it in mid-flight and hope off.

When you remain calm and radiate positive energy on a DMT trip, you will be taken to places that you could never have imagined and if you let yourself go you will feel a freedom and love that is indescribable. If you are fortunate enough on your journey, you will experience the 'truth' - you will understand what this means after your experience.

Having healthy skepticism is a good thing, just don't be too surprised when it is shattered by an event that you get immersed within during your DMT trip.

Note: It is important to thoroughly research DMT and relate other people's experiences and life circumstances to your own.
